Github Commands

Here are some useful commands to get up and running with Github. I'm using GitBash terminal.

You can download GitBash from https://git-scm.com/downloads

To get started run GitBash and cd into your project directory. This will be the directory which you want to upload all files.

git init

Add all files

git add .

Commit changes

git commit -m "My first Commit"

no image found

Add repository url

git remote add origin (URL for Repository HERE with no parenthesis)

Push 

git push -u origin master
